Ananda is a highly experienced professional with over 23 years of expertise in the Costa Rican real estate industry, specifically specializing in the Guanacaste area. Throughout his career, he has played a significant role in various facets of real estate, including development, infrastructure, and construction. Ananda has actively contributed to reforestation and Permaculture projects . His diverse skill set encompasses the construction of both conventional and ecological structures, utilizing materials such as wood, tarp, and clay.
A visionary driven by the creation of residential areas of social value. He has a fascinating life story of building communities in the city of Seattle combining creativity, art, lifestyle, and smart real estate. Two years ago Herzel decided to partly move to Costa Rica and he splits his time between Nosara, Montezuma, and Seattle.
Emily is a mother of two children, an anthroposophic kindergarten teacher, a doula, and a student of anthroposophic medicine. Her main motivation in life is learning and healing. She loves the outdoors and this is why she is drawn to the country of Costa Rica and specifically the project of Nanku Eco Village, she splits his time between Nosara, Montezuma, and Seattle. She wishes to instill in her children the lifestyle of living in harmony with nature while continuing to grow and learn.
Amara arrived to Costa Rica 23 years ago and founded with other friend’s the Pacha Mama Eco Village, a beautiful ecological community and transformation center located next to San Juanillo. He is a breathwork therapist and meditation facilitator and leads workshops of awareness and personal development. Amara loves the Guanacaste lifestyle of surfing, wellbeing, and connection to nature that’s why he has chosen to make this place his home.
Gabriella loves all living beings of our Earth; humans, animals, and plants. She values human connection, community, protecting the environment, physical movement, and education. She has traveled all around the world gaining knowledge through meaningful experiences and cultural exchange. She studied Cultural Anthropology where she feels most called to bridge ancient ancestral teachings to the modern world. A yoga teacher, English and Spanish teacher, and the manager of a Recycling Center; she blends all of her loves and passions which are protection of the environment and those who live within it
Ray is a nature enthusiast and advocate for sustainable living. With expertise in technologies, marketing, and research. Ray is excited to contribute to the Nanku Eco Village. Passionate about creating a harmonious community in sync with nature, Ray is dedicated to promoting sustainability and inspiring others.
Escalante is a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with an impressive career spanning over 45 years. Specializing in the design and construction of real estate projects and government buildings, Rafael has left an indelible mark in the industry. With extensive knowledge of the entire country and a particular focus on the Province of Guanacaste, he has successfully completed numerous notable projects in the region. These include the Sunrise Tamarindo commercial and residential project, Beach Ranchitos in Villa Real Tamarindo, the Royal Palms Commercial Project, and Casa Sol in Playa Potrero. Rafael’s unparalleled expertise and exceptional project portfolio make him an incredible asset to our team.
Alaya’s mission centers around the creation of meaningful educational opportunities for the project and its surrounding community. With a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and values, Alaya is dedicated to fostering genuine connections and giving back to the community that has embraced her. She is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this special place she calls home. Alaya holds a background in Psychology, Waldorf education, and Equine Therapy. For the past 18 years she has been actively involved in teaching, coordinating and pioneering Waldorf initiatives in Costa Rica, and is also a proud mother of two 🙂
Ariel, an experienced organic farmer and passionate advocate for sustainability, is Nanku’s Sustainability Manager. With expertise in organic farming and a commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture, Ariel brings valuable knowledge to the project. Ariel’s mission is to inspire others to embrace a healthier and more balanced way of living, making sustainability a central focus of the project’s vision.
Herminio is a highly accomplished and experienced Regent Forest Engineer with an impressive track record spanning over 25 years. With a strong focus on forest exploitation, reforestation, and forest protection, Herminio possesses extensive expertise in all facets of his field. Herminio’s profound knowledge and hands-on experience make him a valuable asset to our Nanku team.
